Overnight Care

Often it is the middle of the night when disabled and elderly people feel most vulnerable and at risk.

With a carer on hand overnight, we can offer our clients and their families the reassurance they need to sleep soundly and have their individual needs met.

What conditions can overnight carers help with?

Our fully trained carers are experienced in dealing with a whole range of conditions that require overnight care as well as the needs that come from being elderly. These include but are not limited to:

What Does Overnight Care Involve?

Our overnight care is broken down into two categories. Which one you choose is dependent on the level of care required. We offer:

  • Waking night care: This is where a carer will stay awake for the night and provide whatever care is needed

  • Sleeping night care: With this type of care, a carer will assist with any needs required before bed and will then sleep in the home overnight. The carer can be woken through the night if they are needed

Advantages of Overnight Care

Things often seem more difficult at night and this is particularly true for people who already feel vulnerable.

Overnight care not only provides reassurance for the person receiving it, but it also gives their loved ones peace of mind that all their needs are being met through the night, even if that just means them being able to sleep soundly knowing someone is available if they need them. Our carers provide:

  • Reassurance for both the client and their loved ones

  • Care in whatever form is required

  • Company and a friendly face

  • Support with tasks
