Butterfly's Care Group is a highly professional family-run group of care homes in Essex which has been providing quality care for over 18 years.

Who We Are & What We Do

Since 2004, Butterfly's Care Group has been delivering quality and personal care across North Essex, with care homes in Braintree, Colchester, Alresford and Walton-on-the-Naze. We are a highly professional, established and well-trusted care provider; each member of our team is trained to the highest standards of professionalism, in line with our principles of service. Our aim is to encourage independence, preserve dignity, enable freedom of choice and protect the privacy of each service user.

Ultimately, we are committed to supporting people to reach their full potential. This founding principle underpins everything we do, making sure that we provide our clients and their families with the highest quality of care and support possible. As a team, we are continually evolving and improving our practices to meet this goal.

Unique Needs

The trained and dedicated teams of carers in our homes are committed to high standards of care for each and every service user, catering for their unique needs and preferences.

British Sign Language Communication

As part of our duty to deliver quality, meaningful care, we have staff trained in British Sign Language to provide care and communication to service users who are hard of hearing.

Emotional Care

We emphasise the importance of putting your loved one's emotional needs first and foremost, whether it means celebrating a birthday or simply fluffing a pillow. Additionally, whilst our homes organise a wide variety of social activities, one of the delights of our service is that clients can choose to do as much or as little as they like. Whether it’s pottering around in the garden, watching a DVD or enjoying a sing-a-long, a service user can participate in their favourite activity however and whenever they wish.

Community Spirit & Outings

Community spirit is at the core of our nursing homes. Service users, staff and relatives meet regularly to decide upon the social events and activities they would like to pursue. We encourage friends and relatives of clients to attend various events and activities that take place, including exciting outings on our specially adapted minibus. Popular outings include visits to Colchester Castle, the brilliant Colchester Zoo & trips to the seaside.
