If a member of your family is struggling with elements of their life but wants to maintain their independence in their own home, domiciliary care is something that you may be considering.
We know how important it is for people to be able to carry on living in their homes wherever possible, and to be able to carry on doing all the things that make them happy. Domiciliary care provides that extra helping hand to support our clients and reassure their loved ones.
Domiciliary care is support provided in someone’s own home. Typically we find that 30-45 minutes per day is enough time to carry out the tasks that our clients need assistance with. However, we know that everyone has individual needs and so this may vary from person to person. A personal care plan will be discussed with the family and the client and will be constantly reviewed to ensure we are meeting their needs.
We also bear in mind that whilst some clients will only ever require domiciliary care, others may find that their level of care will eventually progress to needing a live-in carer or residential care. We provide both of these services and can support our clients and their families through this transition.
